The SAXCF is a local Community Fridge project to fight food waste. ​​We hold sessions behind The Old Bank building in Saxmundham (accessway via the alley between The Old Bank and Jennie Jones estate agent) where we distribute, for free, bread, fruit and vegetables donated by local businesses which are near or past their 'best before date' and which would otherwise have been thrown away.

​​However, we are more than 'just' a food space. 

• We offer free hot drinks and often cake!

• We actively encourage people to stay for a while and chat.

• ​We have branched out to local pre-school and primary schools ​​​​

In summary... EVERYONE is welcome to come to the SAXCF table. ​
